bred and foaled at Wilfrid S. and Lady Anne Blunt's Sheykh Obeyd Stud in
Egypt, Yashmak was
used there for both for riding and breeding. She stood 14.2 Hands, had a girth of
67 1/2 inches, and bone of 7 1/4 inches. Overall on points of conformation, she
was one of the best mares of her day.
