Sire of 17 registered purebred Arabian foals (9 colts and 8 fillies) including his daughters Guemura and Ophir (see Roaba) who are both of very special significance in the pedigrees of Arieana's foundation bloodstock.

From our Arieana Notebook: Segario was noted as a beautiful horse of refinement, great elegance, and extreme Arabian style. A very animated individual, he had much the same look and quality as his sire *Nimr and was undoubtedly one of the better Arabian stallions of his time. In 1917, at age 15 years, Segario was acquired by W.R. Brown and used for two seasons at his Maynesboro Stud. Brown then donated him to the United States Army where he served his final days as a United States Remount stallion. Date of death is not recorded.
