From our Arieana Notebook: Nawari, purchased as an aged mare by Mr. and Mrs. David A. Crane, is fondly remembered by Annamae Crane as a pleasure to them and their young children. Annamae Crane mentions that at the time of their ownership of Nawari, they also owned two other Alla Amarward daughters. And although Nawari proved barren and produced no foals for them, The Crane's three children would "...happily ride these gentle [three] old ladies around the paddock." She also goes on to write that Nawari was in her 30's when she was euthanized and buried at their home in Chino, California.  (Personal Correspondence from Annamae Crane dated October 11, 2008).
