From our Arieana Notebook: Sire of 24 registered purebred Arabian foals (8 colts and 16 fillies) including his daughter Surrab who is of mid-pedigree significance in Arieana's Arabians. Though not in our own pedigrees, we at Arieana Arabians also treasure the influence of *Latif's son Potif (see photo), a stallion owned by Dr. and Mrs. Harold Palmer of Portland, Oregon and a stallion considered by Gladys Brown Edwards as hard to fault. Potif was a notable winner in the show rings of the Northwest and sired the incomparable jumper Senrab. Another notable Potif get was the parti-colored filly Lava Ridge Potecka. In other words, we are very proud of *Latif's influence in our purebred Arabian bloodstock at Arieana Arabians for its athletic quality, beauty, and versatility!
