From our Arieana Notebook: We value Abu Baha as one of several sources for the highly-desirable Abu Farwa influence in our foundation bloodstock. Abu Baha sired Amara Baha, the sire of Amazon of Pico, whose son Blitzen of Pico gave us that very special "golden cross" with our Hearst-bred mares.

Purchased at age 3 months from his breeder Herbert H. Reese by James and Florence Ward of Stanwood, Washington, Abu Baha became a leading son of Abu Farwa. Shown for several years by his new owners, Abu Baha was a multi-halter and under saddle Class A Show Champion, never out of the ribbons and with only one 2nd and one 4th place.  Retired from his illustrious career in the show ring at age 7, Abu Baha went on to become the sire of many champion sons and daughters including these six National Winners: Canadian Top Tens Nar Kora, Tabanja+, and Abu Alla, Canadian Top Ten Pleasure Driving Rolabu, U.S. Top Ten Western Pleasure AOTR and Canadian Top Ten Western Pleasure Miss Baha+, and Canadian National Champion Native Costume and U.S. Reserve National Champion Native Costume Bahadur++.
